This project is a new 13-unit residential building designed to meet the needs of young unhoused adults. The goals of the project was to design a home-like multi-unit efficiency building that blends into a residential neighborhood. Challenges of the project included a tightly compressed design schedule to meet the funding deadline, a limited budget, and an inaccessible site bound by a single-family neighborhood.  Within the building, twelve efficiency apartments for young adults and one apartment for a Site Advisor are combined with generous common areas for group activities, exercise, cooking classes and other life-skill training opportunities.
