IN CONSTRUCTION

Thomaston Opera House
THOMASTON, CONNECTICUT

The historic Thomaston Opera House was built in 1884 to serve not only as a theater, but also as the Town Hall of Thomaston. We are always excited to preserve and protect buildings on the CT State and National Historic Registers, but especially ones built from locally quarried granite, and bricks made in the historic factory owned by the Town's namesake, Seth Thomas, a prolific early clock maker. We aim to fully restore and preserve this piece of Connecticut history, as well as make it safe, fully accessible, and functional for theatrical performances today.

Waltersville Commons
BRIDGEPORT, CONNECTICUT

The plan for the adaptive reuse of the Historic Waltersville School (c. 1900) consists of the rehabilitation of the school structure and conversion of the classrooms to 70 units of mixed income rental housing. It also entails demolishing a neighboring garage to make way for a parking lot. The structure will be outfitted with a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units.
