PAUL B. BAILEY ARCHITECT, LLC
Sherman Senior Center
Our firm assisted the Town of Sherman in the renovation of the historic Sherman Town Hall, built in 1886, into a Senior Center. The project’s goals were to meet the current needs of the facility and to restore the historic characteristics of the structure. The scope of work includes historically sensitive upgrades to the mechanical systems, ensuring handicapped accessibility throughout the entire building, including a new handicapped entry and bathrooms, raising the ceiling in the main meeting room to reveal a hidden ceiling medallion, and restoring the façade and front door to their original appearance based on historic photographs.
